Editorial policy
Vibrant Cricket Review aims to make cricket equipment easier to understand. We write in plain language, keep claims proportionate and make clear when an explanation is general rather than a recommendation for a particular player.
Accuracy and clarity
We check that explanations are internally consistent, use equipment terms carefully and distinguish description from opinion. Articles should explain the limits of a claim when those limits matter. We do not invent testing, personal experience, credentials or sources. Readers should not treat general editorial content as a substitute for advice about fit, use or safety from a suitably qualified person.
Independence and commercial material
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is labelled clearly where it appears, so readers can identify its nature. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and commercial material does not determine the conclusions of independent editorial work.
Corrections
If an article contains an error, send the article title, the detail in question and any helpful explanation through the Contact page. We review correction requests and amend material when warranted; significant changes should be made clear to readers. A submitted correction is not automatically accepted, but it will be considered on its merits.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Illustrations are used to clarify or set a scene, not as evidence that an item has been tested or that a pictured product is a real, available model. We aim to make their illustrative role clear where it could otherwise be mistaken.
Know the job before choosing the kit
Cricket equipment has different jobs and trade-offs. We explain the parts, so you can make sense of them without being told what to buy.
